I measured my mark ready to ball the first ball of the One Day International World Cup… I ran in and bowled the ball but nothing came out of my hand, I realised that the umpire had forgot to give me the ball. I got the ball from the umpire and went back to my mark. I could feel the chill from the wind. I ran in and was just about to ball the ball but the batsmen pulled away. He said to the umpire “ The ball”. The umpire said in return “ Just play”, The batsmen replied “But it is the wrong colour”…
