Graphs

We have recently been working on Graphs under the subject of Data, Maths. We have made a graph on the amount of B’days in 5H. We then looked at Austin’s Butterfly. Which gave us inspiration on making our graph better so below ids my first and second graph.

Cube Nets

Hello everyone,

Today I will show you and describe my learning from our recent mini-unit on Cube nets.

1) We have made various different cube nets, we have discovered that there are more  than 1 cube nets, I have found out 9 different cube nets. I have found a T-pose nets well. Learning these nets was fun while trying to find every cube-net there was without any help.

2) These are the nets that I have made but shown on a digital source. We had to spin the shapes around to observe our shape and to see if it was the shape we wanted.

3) Then we looked at all the cube nets, by observing the shape and recognising the shape, faces and the actual net. We had the opportunity to say if it was a cube net or not. I had 3 wrong and the rest right.

4) We have also made an educational tutorial on one cube net, and how it works using magnetic shapes. We have shown our Mathematical Reasoning in this video. Sit back and. Relax and Enjoy this video!!!

Thanks for looking at my Blog and keep on watching as I will be posting really soon.

Isometric Drawings

Hello, everyone, we made Isometric Drawings today on an online source. We were given a shape to make. We view the top, right and bottom of this image to make it. We had to also change the direction of the shape to make it.

This is the Isometric drawing that I have down hand-drawn. I have drawn a 3D ‘A’. One of the ‘A’s’ has been drawn by our teacher the other one I have drawn myself. I have also made the shape in the other Isometric drawing but by hand. Part of the whole task was to prove that we can draw rectangular Prism so you can also see that hand-drawn.

Entering the Dimensional

We looked at dimensional shapes and found the length, width and depth of the objects to calculate the area, volume and perimeter together as a class. Then we had to find the some objects in our spatial area(classroom) that matched the worksheet we had. We had to write the Identifying Features.
